The King Shepherd Dog is not a breed, but a mix of large dogs, not recognized by AKC. While there was once a standard and goal for breeding King Shepherds, and most of the original breeders were doing PennHip testing, things have changed. The focus for Kings today seems to be only size. This does not match with my goals and I have now retired Mawenzi at age 5. Mawenzi had great health and disposition, and she produced some wonderful litters for me. It is time for Mawenzi to just enjoy life as a treasured pet. Shasta is now 9 years old and enjoying retirement. LIMANI IS OUR FUTURE!  She is a Bohemian Shepherd who produced a fantastic litter with my King AUGUSTUS! Limani will only be breed for Bohemian Shepherd pups in the future. Limani is sweet and outgoing and wants to be everyones friend. Limani is also the most alert dog I have ever known and an extreme hunter of small rodents and birds.

Limani is a Bohemian Shepherd    She is from the first litter of Bohemian Shepherds born in North America.. She is not as big as a King Shepherd, but a super athlete, and very friendly and loving to all. She loves all the other dogs and most people she meets. Limani has PennHip scores in the top 5% of all dogs tested. She is also DM clear.

Limani (Bohemian Shepherd)

Mawenzi  is retiring!    She is a sweet girl, and a great mom that loved to  play with pups, and would care for any pup even it was not hers.

Logan @ 12 years old

Logan, born September 22nd 2004 is now retired. She gave us 32 beautiful pups in four litters. She is the dam of EmiKoussi, and granddam to Shasta and MaunaKea.

Logan Passed away at age 16 years and 4 months.

My wonderful Girl EmiKoussi from Logans first litter. We lost EmiKoussi  just before her 13th Birthday.  She was the perfect Mother and Grandmother to so many of our puppies. 100% loyal  and loving. I will miss her forever.
